Pressure the ball
Guards need to keep constant pressure on the passer or ball handler, forcing them off of their desired path of attack. This will help your big men by forcing the offense into uncomfortable situations, often times taking post players away from their "sweet" spots on the court.

Yes - especially on a fast break - a point guard will stop a fast break by attacking the opposing point guard, forcing him to slow down and force him to the side where he has fewer options available.

Playmakers are harder to come by, so i vote continue to be a playmaker. Pick and choose your moments, score when it's available. Get all of your teammates involved.
