Travelling is called when A) a player slides, lifts, or changes his pivot foot B) Takes more than 2 steps after picking up his dribble. Loss of possesion will occur for a traveling violation. You have to dribble if you are advancing with the ball.
Describe more about this term. I dont think all readers would understand
Can you travel whilst outside the court looking to pass in. eg move up the sideline to pass
only on a made shot can you move with the ball out of bounds on a dead ball you have to stand still
that's correct. after a made basket you are aloud to run the baseline while throwing it in, otherwise, it would be a travel.
was the rule changed???? i remember it as being allowed only a step and a half!!!!!!
