What happens if an opposing team member elbows me?

Defensive Post Position

If a defender is posting you up (having his back to the basket looking for the ball)try to get in front and deny him the ball. If you can´t, get a good wide base and don´t let him back you in any deeper. Any contact with his elbows on your chest should be a foul on him.

Just make sure that when you get in front of the post player that he/she doesn't push you out further. If that happens then the offensive player on the wing can throw it over you and the post will either get an open layup or a bounce pass to a player cutting from the opposite wing!
