Tip of the Week
Spend alot of your time watching what happens away from the ball. Watch the moves, screens and cuts by the other offensive players. See how they use their body to get open. See the defense and what their stance is like. Take note of where they are on the floor in relation to the ball. Most of all - Listen and Learn! Generally, the announcers on most games are very knowledgeable. They will try to explain the fundamentals and strategy involved in the game. When there is an "instant replay", the analyst typically talks in detail about the specific play. Sometimes you can learn what to do in special situations. Just as important - you can sometimes learn what NOT to do.
