'09 Playoffs ROUND 1: #1 Cavs vs. #8 PistonsMy Pistons, after 6 straight Eastern Conference Finals, are in serious trouble of not leaving the first round. It most likely is the end of an era, but Piston fans never give up hope. We lost Billups for nobody, I mean A.I., and while the Cavs have been unbeatable at home, it's not out of the realm of possiblities for the Pistons to steal one if the Cavs fall asleep at the wheel. This is not likely, I could see the Pistons winnings one, maybe two at home, but unfortunately, the Pistons streak is probably coming to an end. Prediction: Cavs in 6 Game 1: Cavs 102, Pistons 84 The Cavs jumped out on the Pistons, going wire to wire. Lebron had an all-around great game, going for 38 points, three of which came in the form of a half-court dagger at the end of the first half. Detroit did make a run late to cut it to eight, but they were unable to get it any closer. The Pistons seemed overmatched, they got outworked. Not a good start for Piston fans. Game 2: Cavs 94, Pistons 82 This game played much like the first game, ecspecially in the first half. The Pistons showed little effort, the starters were completely dominated as the Cavs built up a 29 third quarter lead. As the Pistons bench came in, led by Will Bynum, they Pistons managed to cut the lead down to 7 in the fourth. Lebron and company came in, and despite a good effort by the Pistons bench, the Cavs held onto another wire to wire victory.
